How many hours of sleep do your little ones get?

How many hours of sleep do your little ones get, including naps?

Mine don't nap and they both (3 and 5) sleep about 12-13 hours at night.

DS, age five, gets about 10-11 hours of sleep at night. He only needs a nap either when he's missed some sleep or he's sick. In fact he has had a touch of a cold this past week and today was the first day he didn't require a nap, which is good because when he needs a nap, he throws fits, it is how I know he needs a nap. Of course than it is a huge fit trying to get him down for a nap. Once he awakes, he is his normal self again, thank God. After this past week, I don't know if I could deal with a kid that regulary threw fits. It was like five days in a row and it got really old.

oldest about 9.5 and youngest about 10-12 hours but my youngest that will be 3 in Dec hasn't napped in a while. She gave up her nap before she turned 2. Then she began sleeping a lot at night.

L & E average about 8.5/9 hours at night and take one 1.5-2 hour nap per day.

Edited to add: they're 2 and 3

About 10 hours, ds zonks right out and sleeps great.  dd on the other hand is never tired so doesn't fall asleep when it's bedtime and wakes up early and lies in bed quietly until we get her in the morning. She's going to be one of those women who function great on 4 hours of sleep a night.

Oh thanks- i was beginning to wonder if dd sleeps too much - DD 5 in kindergarten sleeps 11.5 hours and every one says that it is too much.  We are not able to go on Wednesdays to church as a family because of her sleep patterns.  She needs to be in bed a t 6:45 for her to be able to wake up at 6:30.  She also sleeps the moment we put her in bed, so it's not like we are making her sleep late.

We've tried to reduce it , but end up with one cranky child - which is worse.

Ds is 6 and in K, he sleeps between 10-11 hours a night (7:30 bedtime, wakes up by 6:45), he does much better when he gets 11 hours.

Dd is 2.5 and she sleeps at least 12 hours total. Sometimes she takes a 30-45 minute nap before we have to pick up ds from school so her bedtime is 7:15. If she takes no nap at all, she is in bed by 6:45, which is increasingly common. She is usually up for the day about 7.

I was curious about this too.  DD#1 (almost 4) sleeps about 11-12 hours counting nap if she takes one.  DD#2 (2) sleeps about the same, sometimes an extra half hour or so in the mornings.

That is not too much, when DD#1 (almost 4) had her preschool screening, they said she should sleep between 11-12 hours total, counting naps.

DD11 does best with 12 hours but during the week gets 9
