Displaying kids artwork (pictures)

I am not a fan of pictures on the fridge, but I still want the kids to be able to show off their "artwork". I started hanging it in the hallway, and it looked cute...but was lacking.

I saw an idea on another blog awhile back about using frames, so I adapted the idea to work for us!

It was SO SIMPLE and SO INEXPENSIVE! I just used some frames I had around and one I picked up at Goodwill for $1. I got rid of all the glass.

You'll notice I also took all the glass out of the frames. I want to be able to rotate the kids artwork without too much fuss, plus I think it just looks fun smile.gif

That's really fun!

Great idea! I have DD11s stapled all over my scrapbook room walls. This idea is so much more fun.

So cute!  What did you do to attach the drawings to the wall?  I am assuming they are attached directly to the wall with the frame around it?

Thanks smile.gif The kids came home from school and saw it right away and love it too! I debated attaching clips to the wall and they could rotate them out that way, but I haven't found any I really love yet.

So for now I put tape on the backside of each picture and stuck them up. I'm not worried about damage to the wall b/c I tend to want to repaint every few years...or sooner biggrin.gif

If you were worried about the paint on the wall you could just leave the glass in the frame and tape the picture to it.

Love it, think I may copy that for our upstairs hall!!!

So cute! You could also put those cork tiles in the back of the frames and use pushpins to attach the artwork. Great idea, Shell!!
