Pumpkin Deviled Eggs Recipe

I just used red and yellow food coloring to achieve the orange color, and paprika on top. I used a sharp knife to create a striated look for the pumpkin. I used a single lettuce leaf cut into really thin strips for the pumpkin stems.   My boys loved this recipe!

For next time:

I wonder if a melon baller would have been better to get a more uniform look.  I should have wiped the whites before I took the photo.

Hello,

Just a handy trick, use a sandwich bag and cut a small corner off and squeeze the contents out into the egg to get a really neat finish. Or you could use a cake decorator bag, simple and fast and they come out looking awesome! These do look really good and thank you for giving me an idea with my left over chives!
