Tonight at the YMCA my dd was changing after her swimming lessons. Inside the girls locker room was a boy sitting there watching girls shower--he was watching the older girls, not mine. One girl was showering with her suit on and another had hers off. I asked her to put it back on and when I pointed out the boy was watching she became embarrassed. I asked him how old he was and he said 12. His mom finished dressing her dd and came up to us. I told her I thought a 12 year old boy was capable of walking through the boys locker room and waiting in the hall. He was too old to be sitting there watching those girls shower. When she got mad I asked if he was a special needs child. She got angrier and said no. One of the other girls moms came up also and was mad when she found out he had been watching her daughter. I told her if she was so worried about him walking through the boys locker room then he should sit beside her and his sister and not watch preteens shower. Was I out of line or would you have said something? Boys at that age are thinking or starting to think about girls and sex and I didn't think that was appropriate.
