It wouldn’t be a Super Bowl party if it didn’t include Lil’ Smokies! This recipe for Bacon Wrapped Lil’ Smokies is simple as it only requires 3 ingredients and just a few minutes of your time.

Bacon Wrapped Lil' Smokies

1 package of bacon, any brand and flavor
1 package of Lil’ Smokies, any variety (I used the turkey variety)
Brown Sugar

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil for easy clean-up (I forgot to do this step, but I just let my pan sit with hot, soapy water and it cleaned up just fine).

Step 2: Take bacon out of package and cut into thirds.

Step 3: I took the Lil’ Smokies out of their package, drained them and them let them sit on paper towel to dry. By doing this the Lil’ Smokies are easier to wrap with the bacon.

Step 4: Wrap each Lil’ Smokie with one piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick and lay on cookie sheet. (If you don’t want to secure them with toothpicks just make sure to lay them seam side down on cookie sheet).

Step 5: Sprinkle all of the Lil’ Smokies with brown sugar. You can use as much brown sugar as you want, the more the better I think! The more brown sugar you use, the more they caramelize.

Step 6: Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes. Serve with any type of dipping sauce or sauces that you like.
