Have you read any books by the Duck Dynasty Cast?  These two are out now, but there are more coming out later this year.

The Duck Commander Family: How Faith, Family, and Ducks Built a Dynasty [Hardcover]

Willie Robertson is the CEO of Duck Commander, a family operated business that creates products for duck hunters including duck calls, clothes, and videos. Willie, along with his wife and business partner Korie Robertson, also owns and operates Buck Commander where they create products for deer hunters. Willie took the family duck call making company from a living room operation to a multi-million dollar business. Korie helped her husband grow the company into an ever-expanding enterprise and serves as the Duck Commander office manager. Willie and Korie live together with their four children in West Monroe, Louisiana.

(this one got GREAT reviews.  I'm thinking of getting it for my dh's birthday)

Happy, Happy, Happy: My Life and Legacy as the Duck Commander [Hardcover]

LIVING THE DREAM

Duck calls—though the source of his livelihood—are not what makes Phil Robertson the man he is today. When asked what matters in his life, he’s quick to say, “Faith, family, ducks—in that order.”

It isn’t often that a person can live a dream, but Phil Robertson, aka The Duck Commander, has proven that it is possible with vision, hard work, helping hands, and an unshakable faith in the Almighty. Phil’s is the remarkable story of one man who followed the call he received from God and soon after invented a duck call that would begin an incredible journey to the life he had always dreamed of for himself and his family. In the love of his country, his family, and his maker, Phil has finally found the ingredients to the “good life” he always wanted.

If you ever wind up sitting face-to-face with Phil, you’ll see that his enthusiasm and passion for duck hunting and the Lord is no act—it is truly who he is.

These are coming out later on this year:

Sicology 1: Tales and Wisdom from Duck Dynasty's Favorite Uncle [Hardcover]

You know him from the hit A&E show Duck Dynasty—now you can enjoy Uncle Si’s tall tales, crazy exploits, and quirky one-liners in one raucous collection!

“These hands are so fast, I can get your wallet before you know it. In a minute, you’ll be standing there buck naked and won’t know what hit you!” “Look here—if it wasn’t for my tripped knee, I’d be playing in the NBA today.” “Hey, Jack!” Any of these sound familiar? If they do—or even if they don’t—you’re in for a good laugh. The brother of patriarch Phil Robertson, Uncle Si has a limitless supply of stories about his childhood, duck hunting adventures, his days in Vietnam, and everything in between. Now the best of those tales are gathered into this roaring book.

Si shares stories of the more than twenty-five marriage proposals he’s received in the mail (some with photos!), how he came to use a green Tupperware cup for his ever-present sweet tea, and how his cigarette smoke made a deer cough (he’s since quit smoking). And in many of these never-before-heard tales, Si openly talks about his wife and two children—who are never seen and rarely mentioned on the show.

Sure to please die-hard fans and curious newbies alike, Si’s one-liners are presented alongside fun, expressive photographs. In no time, this smattering of zany stories will have you falling over with laughter and retelling them to all your friends.

From fried chicken to fried frog legs, sausage gumbo to crawfish étouffée, and buttery biscuits to red beans and rice, Miss Kay is a master of the back-country, home-cooked meal. She has been cooking ever since she was a little girl and has perfected her skills through years of practice on the Robertson clan. Now she shares her mouth-watering meals, drinks, desserts, and more, and her love shows in every recipe.

Since family is of utmost importance to the Robertsons, each section of Miss Kay’s Duck Commander Kitchen is organized around different family members and special events, featuring insider stories and colorful dinner table conversations that will keep you laughing. Miss Kay also reveals the favorite recipes of each of the Robertson men—and their wives—as well as the famous meals she cooks for extended family, friends, and church members. What exactly is this show about? Is it like a reality show about the family?

From what I understand they are millionaires after making a duck call. They live in a wealthy neighborhood, but still act like they always did before they were rich.

That's how it's been explained to me, but someone correct me if I'm wrong because I've never watched it.

Willie and Korie live in a wealthy neighborhood, but Phil and Kay (the parents) definitely don't.  I'm not sure about the rest.  The show is about the entire Robertson family:  Phil and Si (brothers) and Phil and Kay's kids (mainly Jase and Willie) and their wives and extended families.   There's more about it here:  Duck Dynasty Season 1

I like Duck Dynasty because it's a funny, family-oriented show.  They're simple people who didn't let success affect them.  I suppose there is a little bit of the Beverly Hillbillies aspect to it, but that's not why I like it.  They say the funniest things.  It's wholesome humor we can all watch together.

Yes...it's a 'rags-to-riches story of a down-home family business'.

It is a GREAT show...our whole family watches together smile.gif

I think there is only one brother (Phil and Kay's oldest son) who doesn't actively participate in the show- He is a Pastor in West Monroe, LA and you will never see Uncle Si's wife either- though he is happily married!

I have one of the books, but haven't read it.

To go along with Kim, the show is so fabulous in the fact that there is no swearing, and just good family fun.
