Ideas for Succulents and Succulent Containers

I love these cute little succulents!  I put some of them in a bowl-type container with some river rock I got at the Dollar Tree.  I want to do something else with them and am looking for more creative ideas for containers.

I do just want you did but in a shallow pot ( I use the base of a larger pot) and put it in my main flower bed.  I have seen pictures of them planted in heals, flagstone that was placed layerd and up right, You can stick them in anything.

I have hens and chickens that I have to separate a lot. I use old cookie jar's that the top has broken or that I have gotten cheap at garage sales.

I also like to put a couple in a pretty glass candy dish. When I get home I will take pictures and the different containers that I have used.

My gramma had some OLD boots that had holes in the toes, etc, so she used those as planters.  I sometimes wish I had grabbed one when they sold their house years ago.

I love succulents. They are supposedly hard to kill, but I killed two out of the three in pots in the house and several of the ones I put in the patio.

I would browse the thrift store glasswares for funky container ideas.

You could do a larger arrangement of succulents in a wooden crate.

I've never had succulents, so I don't know what I'd do with them.  I like the shallow container ideas!  They would be cute on a patio table as a centerpiece!

I was at a flea market over the weekend and got some really cute ideas for succulent containers.

I just picked up this old aluminum pitcher at a garage sale for $.25.

I also got this cute old little wooden box there, marked just $.10!  I haven't planted the succulents in it yet.  I want to put something inside the box first so the soil and moisture doesn't rot the wood.
