Tide detergent in yellow bottle?

Has anyone tried the "new" Tide detergent in the yellow bottle? I found it for under 7 dollars not including tax at Walmart. I wonder if this is a new introductory price or if it'll be just as expensive as the regular Tide? Does it work as well?

I saw it and didn't know what it was... So I bought my regular orange Tide. I had the littles with me and didn't have time to look.

What is it? Why is it new?

Haven't seen it. What is it? I buy laundry detergent in bulk at Costco so I don't shop for it often or look at the choices.

I don't know that i've seen it yet.

I haven't seen it either. I don't usually even look at the laundry detergent at the store because I usually buy Tide off amazon. You'll have to tell us what's different about it.

I happened to be in the laundry aisle at Walmart, so I took a look and didn't see it. Then I found it on an endcap.   $6.97 for 100 oz.  How much is regular Tide? On Amazon it's $15.08 for 100 oz but Amazon marks up...

Here are a couple articles about it. It looks like they are trying to introduce a mid-level detergent.  I agree that people who want to use Tide, want to use it because they think it's the best, so why buy the watered down version?

Yup that's it!  I'll have to read the reviews on it. I think for $100 ounces of regular Tide it's usually around $11.00 but I'm not 100% sure. Well I bought a bottle and it's almost gone. I don't really have an opinion either way. I love the fact that it's Tide (my mother taught me to be a Tide snob) but I don't know if it's really worth getting excited about.

Hello,

I used the new yellow tied find it to work better than the orange tide

My clothes smell fresher when using the yellow. It is cheaper that the

orange tide, I believe P&G will probably raise the price soon. I'm taking

advantage of it....buying the larger yellow tide which is $9.99 (2) purchased

one of the orange tide is $19.99 w/o tax. Try it I think you will like

the new yellow tide.
