WOW! I live in NW Florida and my children have been going to the Montesorri School in town that is really good. My oldest was free as part of the VPK program for 4 year olds. My 3 year old, like I said earlier, will be $115 for 3 hours two days a week!

I guess I got a bargain!!!

I do something similar. we have a preschool like program where kids and parents go one day and then just kids go on another day. our program is income based, but it is on the honor system. we don't turn anyone away. the school district also has a free need based program that u MUST qualify for.

I also suppliment ECFE program with a 3 day a week regular preschool. It is christain based and we pay around 150/month for 3 days, 9-11:30.

I pay $75.00 per month for 5 days a week, 2.5 hrs. a day. We live in a small town so that is probably why it is so cheap. Dd has learned a lot. It has been worth it.

For the pre school we have registered dd for, it will be $175 for 3 afternoons a week (1:00-3:30pm).

There is a free preschool offered through the school district but you have to meet certain income requirement (we make too much) and it's in a school that's not in the best of neighborhoods. It's nice that it's offered for people who don't have other options, but I would rather pay and be able to pick where she goes to preschool.

Hi ladies, I'm new here. Just thought I'd throw in what I pay out here in California (Sacramento) I reseached a few places and was eventually referred to a home preschool by a friend. Most places average about $450-$650/month for 3 mornings a week. The place I take my DD (who just turned 3) is $260/month MWF 8-1 and that includes breakfast, snack, and lunch. She just loves it, and the lady that runs it is great.

Well now that we moved there is a free 4K program that actually is just starting up this next year. Before that we send dd#1 to 4K and it was $965 a year which is about $110 a month. M-W-F 12:30pm-3:30

Well, I just got the bill for ds's tuition for next year. He will be in the 2 year old class and will go 2 mornings a week. It will cost us $3200 (up about $100 from this year) and we have to pay it all by June 1st. I am in Atlanta. It is expensive but it is hands down the best church preschool in the city (it is also our church). People literally come from all over the world to tour it and learn from our teachers and administrators. Our ds absolutely loves it there.

I am paying $80 a month for DD3 to go Tue/Thurs from 9-11:30 and $140 a month for DS4 to go mon/wed from 9-2:30 and Fri 9-11:30.  Most reasonable around. Not going to preschool is not an option around here. I paid up thier tuition in April so that I will only have to pay $82 a month for the school year, $40 of which the grandparents are paying.
