Has anyone tried the Pine Fresh cat litter for their cats?

I saw on their website that it is sold at Target and you can print out a rebate form to get the first bag free. I was thinking about picking it up today to try, since I can get it free after I send in the upc and form. Just wondering what anyone thought of it if their cat has used it.

I used to have 7 cats...yes, SEVEN!!...and I always used Pine Fresh. I just liked the smell of it better than other brands, AND according to their website... "Pine Freshâ„¢ can also be flushed down a toilet in small amounts if you use a city sewage system or placed in your regular trash."...so it's biodegradable, flushable, and..."Pine Freshâ„¢ is a great low-grade soil amendment. It can be safely recycled into your garden as mulch for acid-loving plants once the cat feces has been removed."...which is also great! Also, "Cansorb Industries recycles the pine wood waste from various wood manufacturers to make Pine Freshâ„¢. No trees were cut to produce Pine Freshâ„¢."...which is a big plus in my book.

I would definately give it try, especially if there's a rebate involved.
I don't know what Target sells it for, but on their website they're offering direct orders such as:

6 (Six) 7lb. bags...OR...2 (two) 21lb. bags...42lbs total...for $28 including shipping!!
That seems like a good deal to me. Comes out to like $4.60/bag, which is a great price for Pine Fresh. From what I remember, it was pretty expensive several years ago.

Here's the 800# to order from them: 1-800-956-8333
And here's their website: Pine Fresh Natural Pine Wood Litter 1-800-956-8333

HTH!!

Thanks for the info. I actually did go to that website first as I was searching for the pine litter. And I got confused with all the pine type litters. Feline Pine is the brand that Target sells and is offering the rebate. It doesn't look like you can buy the Pine Fresh in the store. Since I'm heading to Target today I think I'll check out the brand they carry and try it.
