We are definitely praying for your family and especially Tommy. Kids should never have to go through so much. He must be a great little kid. Good for you, staying strong!

I'm so relieved to hear that he is showing some signs of improvement. Good luck.

Great news!! With your OK, I have cast a healing spell, Tommy's candle still burns brightly on my alter, and I am still sending you all positive healing energy's.

24 hours after surgery, and he's pink, awake, no breathing tube, and doing GREAT!!!!! The thing around his neck is just warm moist air blowing into his trach. The thing on his forehead is measuring the amount of oxygen in his brain. It's just got sticky on the back.

He does seemed to have pinked up!!! Wow...looks like he's doing great. Does he have any pain from the surgery or is he feeling pretty well? When will you get to go home? Hope he continues on a good path. Hugs.

As of now, he is on Morphine and Versed for pain and sedation, but the Morphine is making him agitated, so they are going to switch him to Toridole and see if helps him. As far as going home, I am not going to rush him, there are a lot of factors...but saying that, he is doing remarkably well!
