If you crave SALTY foods, what should you grab as a snack instead of potato chips? I grab some wheat thins or some popcorn for salty snacks (more for the crunch than anything


If you crave SWEET foods, what should you grab instead of high fatty, empty colorie snacks? For the sweet foods - I grab fruit, make a smoothie, carrots w/ ranch dressing

Should we or do we...LOL....I am a "salt freak"...so I grab crackers instead...wheat thins, triscuits....the low fat boxes...or rice cakes...I actually like those...can't think of anything else off the top of my head...

So, what should we be grabing??

Salty foods - trail mix, or some popcorn.
Sweet foods - strawberries and some low fat whip cream, or some low fat no sugar added ice cream (only 90 calories instead of the 140-160 in regular ice cream)

Stacey, it's more about sharing our snacking tips with those who are curious. If someone reading this CRAVES potato chips but WANTS to find an alternative, we can give those to her by our suggestions.

If someone is reading this and has a SEVERE sweet tooth, what other options can we give her

See what I mean?

BY the way, does anyone find that drinking more WATER helps alleviate the afternoon munchies?

For salty, I try and grab some baked Lays or wheat thins...notthe best choices but when it is salty, I am usually craving the crunch...

Sweet...My weakness next to carbs....If there is chocolate look out cause i go on auto pilot, but if not then fruit is my #1 pick!

Has anyone ever tried the NAture Valley Sweet and Salty granola bars? OMg! I am addicted

Yes, I think water is a HUGE help...but I chug it so I don't think about snacking anymore b/.c I am so full of water, Ihave been known to have most of my waterintake in the afternoon for this very reason!
