When you type in profanity, does the board automatically edit it so that it doesn't show up or are people doing this themselves? I've noticed that when a couple people typed ####, it showed up as ####.

I was just curious and I couldn't find the board guidelines to see if it said anything.

I typed in the word and it was edited. But I'm wondering what words will get edited and I didn't want to be the one to fill a post with profanity just to fulfill my curiousty (I know...I'm weird)

I wasn't sure if there was something that said or someone that knew.

It edited me. I typed in h*ll and it showed up as ####.

The board does it automatically. Its a word filter. Just put a space in between the letters if you really want to curse. lol

I'm not sure if this board does it automatically, but I know on the old board if someone typed a word I thought was inappropriate, I'd go in as a moderator and take it out, or PM the member and ask them to change it.
