We get it at one of our El chicos and my friends Mom makes it at her restraunt but won't give up the recipe. Theres one blue cheese dip on here but its not it. The recipe I have never works out right for some reason, it had mayo, blue cheese salad dresing--maybe its the brand that makes it better-- onion , olives. I would really appreciate it.

Girl are you talking about the white dip that they serve at the mexican restaurant Hamlin's El Torro in Muskogee? If you are that stuff is soooooooo good! Whenever we go to visit my in-laws we always stop in Muskogee to eat there. It is very addictive. I think that my best friend may have the recipe. I will e-mail her tonight & find out then I will post it on here for you.

Ok meghannsnanny here is a recipe that is pretty close to the the white dip that they serve in Muskogee. I think that this is what you are talking about.

1/2 c. minced green olives
1/2 c. onion
1qt. kraft real mayonnaise-not miracle whip
2-4oz crumbled blue cheese
1/4 tsp garlic powder
3/4 c buttermilk
Mix together & add more buttermilk if too thick.

Hope this is what you are looking for.

Oh Stacey thank you so much--isn't the stuff at Hamlins just the best ever!!!! I never get to Muskogee anymore. I was in Van Buren tonite--my friend was transfered there to the Brownwod Manor--I am not very impressed. He will be there for 3 weeks then go back to rehab. Due to insurance purposes.

When we eat there I always fill up on chips & the white dip. You should have PM'd me to let me know you were gonna be over here & we could have met up for a few minutes. I don't know of anyone that has stayed at Brownwood Manor. Sorry that it was not appealing.

The Lindenloft garlic bread is made with Ott's Italian Dressing...I worked there when I was very young and I looked around for years to find the right stuff...this is as close as you can get....

Not sure if you found the answer to your question yet or not but here's what I have. I got the recipe for El Chico's white dip from El Chico. I just asked if they could tell me how they made it and they gave me a copy of the recipe. As for Hamlin's, I think I found it online. Good luck finding Seven Seas dressing though, I don't think they make it anymore. I use Marie's instead. You can find it in the refrigerated section next to the bagged salads. I've tried using another brand of blue cheese (I think it was Ken's) that was on the shelf with all of the other salad dressings and it was gross! It had a sour taste to it. Marie's tasted fresher. Good luck!

El Chico’s White Dip

1 qt Hellmann's mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
4-5 ounce grated blue cheese
1/4 cup dill pickle relish
1/4 cup finely chopped salad olives with pimentos

Dry milk mix:
2/3 cup milk

Combine and mix dry ingredients together with milk and mayonnaise then add your remaining ingredients... chill and serve. Yield approx 1 3/4 quarts

original recipe recommends that blue cheese and pimentos be run through a cheese shredder. instead i used the crumbled blue cheese and finely chopped my olives.

Hamlin’s White Sauce

1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped green olives
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
4 oz. blue cheese
dressing (Seven Seas
)
1 qt. mayonnaise

Do NOT blend in blender.

Combine all ingredients. Refrigerate 24 hours. Thin with buttermilk.
