We are currently using daveramsey.com in order to pay down our debt. If you haven't heard of him, you should really check it out!!!! He also has a talk show that is played daily on many stations around the US, if you are not able to get him that way, you can listen on-line!!!

And I so agree.   Cash advances will just pull you deeper into debt.
