Meghan lost her 2 front teeth sometime back in May or June, not sure exactly, but its been a while. She STILL has no teeth to fill that spot. How long does it ususally take??? She has gone all summer with no teeth! LOL She ended school with no teeth and is starting 2nd grade with no teeth. Anyone else have a kid that took forever to get grownup teeth??

it varies from kid to kid, but my oldest DD seems to lose them every Feb (around her B-day) and they don't grow back until the following Feb....I swear! Ok it may not be that LONG but it seems like it.

My dd lost her top two front teeth months ago too. The adults ones are taking forever, they are about half way there.

What does her dentist say? When I was a kid, most of my baby teeth were pushed out by adult teeth already breaking through. My best friend - her little girl is actually missing adult teeth. She lost baby teeth, but x-rays reveal there are NO adult teeth to replace them up in her gums. For just a few teeth. She's going to need a lot of dental work.

I was gonna post that too, wow this is an old thread. She has her teeth now and has already been through a round of braces. LOL

My other dd also took forever for her teeth to grow back. They finnally came in last summer, they were out for about 8 months.

This is an old thread, but I'm just finding myself wondering this with my son.  He lost several teeth in first grade, and now - almost a year and a half later a couple of them have not come in yet.  The dentist doesn't seem worried... but I think it's bothering him.

My daughter lost her front teeth in the summer and here it is almost a year later and only one grew back-I'm afraid she may have an impacted tooth and need surgery but after reading this it may be normal-I will do more research and find out for you :)
