Lol I saw the little girl question just as I was getting to post a little boy question. I noticed that my son who is 1 today has very light hardly noticible hair on his little boy area. I was wondering if thats normal? It kinda freaked me out its really light and short.

Tommy developed this as well. We took him to an endocrinologist to rule out Precocious Puberty and any other medical problems. Talk to your ped about getting a referral. Even though it could be "just one of those things", it's important to make sure there isn't something going on internally. It takes a blood test.

Incidentally, Tommy's turned out to be nothing.

Oh no Now I am worried! What exactly is Percocious Puberty?

Precocious puberty is the early onset of puberty before the age of 7 or 8 in girls and 9 in boys. Treatment is usually hormone therapy. Like I said before, usually it is nothing as in Tommy's case, but it should be checked.
