Hi,
I'm back on Weight Watchers points program (at home) and am unsure how to set a realistic weight goal. I am 5'8" and when I married I was 160lbs. That sounds like a lot, but my FIL told me that if I didn't gain some weight I'd blow away (everyone was pretty surprised to hear that I weighed so much because I apparently looked less).
However, I really don't think that I looked that thin. I'm thinking that 145 - 150 is more right for me, but would like a few more opinions. I don't like the guide that says 5'0" should be 100 lbs and then add 5 lbs for every inch you are tall. It seems that 140 lbs on me would be too thin. However, I'd like to hear if you disagree with me.
BTW, my body frame is medium on top and large on bottom (pear).
So, what is your height and what do you think is the right weight for you?
Thanks for your thoughts!
Gina
