What size shoes do your kids wear?

I had to buy my dd some new shoes last weekend. I was having problems finding shoes that would fit in the child's section, so just for laughs we went to the women's section. I ended up buying my almost 9 y/o dd a pair of size 5 women's tennis shoes! I just about had a stroke in the shoe department! Unfortunately I have Clydesdale feet (I wear between an 8 1/2 to a 9 shoe), so it looks like my dd is taking after me in the feet department.

What size do your kids wear? I'm kind of curious to see what size other kids wear so I know if my poor dd is turning into Bigfoot.

My 10 1/2 year old niece is very tall and she wears a size 7 1/2 ladies shoe! My 7 year old is also very tall and he wears a kids size 3. His feet look huge to me. My 2 1/2 year old wears a kids size 10!!! We have really tall children in our family.

Well my dd 5 wears a size 13, and my ds 7 wears a size 2. If you have Clydesdale feet what do you want to call my size 10 feet?

man my girls have tiny feet !! LOL

my 7 yr old(almost 8) is on a size 13 and my 6 yr old is in a size 12!!
mind you i have small feet! I wear a size 6 or 6.5 dep on styles!!

My 9 year old wears a "youth 2" size shoe.
My 12 year old wears a "men's 5" size shoe.

My son is 21 months and he wears a toddler size 7. He's starting to grow out of that though. He'll need new shoes before spring.

My kids have really big feet I think. My 10 yr old DD whom only weighs 65 lbs but is fairly tall wears a 6 1/2 in womens. My 7 yr old DS wears a sz 4 in kids and my 12 yr old DS who is about 5 ft and maybe 90lbs with his clothes on wears a 8-8 1/2 in mens. I wear a 8 1/2 or a 9 depending on the style of the shoe and my DH wears a 8 he has small feet. Guess my kids have my feet!

Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to offend anyone that wears a larger shoe size.

However, your post does make me feel better. Whenever the conversation turns to shoe size and I say that I wear 9's, I feel like the only girl in the world that wears a larger shoe size. It's nice to know that I'm with good company and not alone!

my kids all have average feet. ds 11 wears 5, my dd 4 wears 10 toddlers. but my niece who is 10 wears 11...................................... in women's. she is a big girl 5'4" & about 130 lbs. i used to give her my old clothes, not anymore. she can't fit them.
