I'm on an awful diet for a thyroid problem I'm having so I've only eaten homemade bread, homemade pb, chicken breast and potatoes. My dh has eaten all leftovers so we've saved lots of money on food.

-haven't travelled anywhere except doctor and work (only made it to work two days last week because of illness)

- planted tomatoes, peppers, and herbs to save money later in the summer when we'll have them fresh

Bought a box of wide mouth pint jars with lids to store my leftovers in rather than using plastic bags or plastic storage containers. I did have some glass containers with plastic lids but after lots of use, the lids have cracked along the edges.

Make soup with bits of leftover meat and veggies.

Not shopping so much.

Clipping coupons for only things I need right now.

Rescheduled my haircut.

- cooked a whole chicken yesterday for dinner. I will make chicken and dumplings later this week and then freeze some of the extra cooked meat for a soup or casserole at a later date.
- used my coupon for a free Febreze Noticeable air freshner
-took my kiddo to the park yesterday for some free fun!
-bought a cheapo pack of washcloths to use of my swiffer mop instead of buying refill cloths
-went through the Easter stuff I bought on clearance last year and put together a basket for my son for this year....only thing I have to buy is a chocolate bunny!
