Any ideas on where to buy precooked meat?

Hi,

I'm having tacos for my sons graduation party and am looking for ideas on where I could buy precooked hamburger. Or if anyone has any other suggestions on what I could do that would be great. This is my oldest so it is my first grad party I am having to put on. I'm very nervous.

Thanks - Lisa

If you had the time, it would probably be cheaper just to pre-cook the meat yourself...is there a reason you don't want to do it that way? You can cook it all up and then freeze it until you need it.

I cook hamburger meat ahead of time when I find a great deal on it. I package it in freezer bags.

i have never seen taco meat pre cooked, but I do agree with the others , I have loads of taco meat in the freezer, it is so easy, and probably better for you preservative wise just to do it yourself.

sorry, not much help

you could call taco bell lol and see if they'd sell you some!!

Do you have a Food Service place near by? In Michigan we have Gordons Foods GFS for short.. They sell pre cooked meat.. It is pricey..

I had a taco/nacho bar at my graduation.. I'm not big on ham sammies... So that's what I wanted.. We had shells (soft and hard) nacho chips, melted cheese, taco meat, lettuce, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, onions and hot peppers. Along with sour cream and hot sauce..

Good luck and great idea
