I read your first post as she wanted you to get him to go to sleep on his own before he goes to daycare and THEY let him cry it out... You would be hard-pressed to find a daycare to hold a child until he is asleep. I worked in one in the baby room at one time and quit because they actually got onto me for holding the babies! I hope that you can get him to learn how to console himself before the big transition to daycare!

Well...you can't hardly expect a day care (or anyone for that matter) to hold a baby for an hour or two so he can sleep.

I am not getting into an argument about this...I just needed to vent a little.

Sara - I understand your need to vent - it is trying and nerve racking to listen to a baby cry for a very long time. Dont worry no hard feelings here!! Keep up the good work!!

Good Luck Sara! I am a bad mom cause Noah's doctor told me to let him cry for a little bit when he woke up in the middle of the night and I *gasp* actually follow her advice!

OH...he only slept for a little less than a half an hour and now is happily playing and Kaysa is asleep. She sleeps for like 3 hours.

It isn't easy but it really is for their own good. Once they realize that they are not going to get their way by screaming they will slowly accept it.

I believe so but he sleeps in bed with mommy and daddy sleeps in the guest bed
