Ummm I hate to say it but I think it may be the operator I used to get goofy cuts with my 12" fiskars cutter....partly because before that all I had was the Big Fiskars Rotary cutter and you have to push the blade down when you roll it so I was doing the same thing and I think the force was shifting my paper. A light touch and a sharp blade are the best advice and also make sure the edge you are using to "line up" your cut with is a straight edge.

Do you need special paper to do water coloring with? Where do you buy it?

Like Marcy said, make sure your paper is lined up flush at the top of the paper trimmer. You might throw a new blade in there as well, just to see if it helps.

It does help. Regular CS has a tendency to "pill" when you put anything wet on it. You can buy it at any art supply store.
