i believe it was. it was like 10.00 an hour...and you could pick however many hours you needed. most moms picked about 4 hours per day...2-3 days a week...
that made it...120.00 per week. that's sort of steep...but now when you only need a mommy for say...2 weeks yanno? and the help that they provided while no one else was able was SUPER good.
i was thinking about starting a business like that...all it takes is insurance and bonding (you are going into their homes), and about one or two willing employees...and some advertising! the lady i interviewed with did her hiring through craigslist and had a link to her website up.
i would LOVE to help low income mothers who are pregnant and/or have children with something like this. a friend of mine and i are going to start a non profit program through the march of dimes to help minority, low income, and pregnant women with their pregnancies, i.e. encouraging them to eat properly, keep appointments, etc. it's called the healthy moms, healthy babies program
