What goes best with BBQ ribs?

Thread Starter
I have BBQ ribs in the crock pot (my house smells WONDERFUL!) and I usually make fries and corn on the cob to go with it. Anyway, it's hot here and I don't want to turn on the oven for fries tonight and I don't have any corn. What do you make when you make ribs or what sounds good?

How about a green salad, cole slaw, potato salad or baked potatoes?

Or wild rice and a green salad or tomatoes?

Dh and I do ribs about every other week, and we usually just have them and Bushs Onion Baked Beans

I was going to mention beans and a salad as well. You can do baked potatoes on the grill.

I would do baked beans and cole slaw!

Cold bean salad (green beans, etc). Coleslaw. Veggie tray and dip (think anti-pasta items like olives, pickles, preserved chilis, etc.) Fruit.

We always have garlicky mashed potatoes with our bbq ribs.

My fave beans - they are so zippy!! But here, I would go with the coleslaw - I like the hot and cold combination!

We don't eat fries here very often, just not our thing...so I'd probably do baked potatoes, fresh corn salad, a green salad, homemade cole slaw...stuff like that.
