But I'm not M2M!!

Man she is ON fire!

Last week I went to Stop&Shop here are my totals that I saved, NOT bad, almost 50%, which to me is awesome.

Total before savings: 105.85
Total savings: 45.03
Total after Savings: 60.82

I had $39.23 in JUST store sales savings! That was 43% of my total bill!

I went again this week, bought a few things, and the girl didn't double my coupons for some reason. I had to go back in the store to get my savings. It ended up being 4.55 that I missed in her mistake and they refunded me!

Total before savings 50.54
Refund 4.55
Total savings: 18.74
Total after savings/refund: 31.89

My percentage of my bill saved was 37%

I'm just amazed at how a little bit of work can really add up here and save my family that much.

Thats pretty good too! I have not been the grocery shopper in the last month or so, but I will be going tomorrow hope to save a decent amount.

Trudy,
What is the turn around time on the coupons you get off of Ebay? I have never ever tried there for them but geez for what your saving at GE maybe I could too

Do you guys just count coupons or do sale prices count too? I have no idea how I would figure out my savings short of taking a notebook and writing down all the regular prices and the sale prices and calculating them. I really don't care to do that!!

The register receipt tells me how I save in store sales, then in a seperate spot, tells me how much I save in coupons, ect. I would have no clue how to figure it out either. LOL

Trudy, you get your coupons from ebay?? How does that work out for you?? (Well obviosly pretty good) I'm wondering if you find a savings after you pay the seller, fees, shipping, ect.

One thing I find about the coupon sellers is that they KNOW why youre buying and mail them asap!!!

I've been buying coupons on there for years and RARELY have any not come on time.(in 3 years I could prob count on 1 hand how many times they didn't come on time...always check their feedback)

My ad comes out on Tuesday....about 1-2 in the afternoon....and it doesn't start until Thursday.....I order all my couopns by Wed night(or at least try)and then I plan to shop.....on Wed.

I usually pay on average about 1.50 for 20 coupons.

I am one of those people that really knows my store and the prices well......this is a BIG help when buying coupons...

I did pay a little more like a week ago,I think 3.50 for 20 Powerade coupons....but for that 3.50......I got 20 32oz powerades for free(on sale 10/$10 and the coupons were .75/1 and my store doubles)

also.......always be watching for good coupons on things you use....and watch for ones with good long dates.....I sometimes will have to hold coupons for a month or so.....but almost always worth it.

If you wanna stock at bargain base prices.....this IS a great way to go.

I already know I can't do what trudy does. I can't get ads early so there is very little leeway for buying coupons. The only store that doubles only doubles 5 coupons and I MUST spend $25 after all the coupons. it also only happens on weds, the ad comes out sunday. I have looked for it on sat night and nothing.
I usually average 45%-50%. I think I do very well.
