What to do with cabbage?

I have 2 large heads of cabbage and no idea what to do with them. Any suggestions? I'm rather recipe impaired so keeping it simple would be great!

I currently have cabbage leaves in my bra!!! (I'm trying to dry up my breastmilk supply( That's probably not what you had in mind, but that's what I'd do with them.

Can't you make cole slaw with cabbage? Or corned beef and cabbage? I don't have recipies though, because personally, I hate cabbage.

make cabbage rolls...cook them....cool them and freeze them if you are not going to eat them right away...supper for a rainy day.

I always make my pot roasts with lotf of onion, potatoes, and carrots and cabbage too if I have it on hand....as much as I can fit in the crockpot!!! Goes really well with it.

you can make it one of two ways

1) cook cabbage up, cook up eggg noodles, add butter to noodles when finished cooking, add cooked cabbage serve

2) cook cabbage, cook egg noodles, cook breakfast sausage in little pieces (i prefer bob evans) combine cooked cabbage, cooked noodles, cooked sausage, and butter serve

I make what I call Cabbage Packets.

Cabbage Packets
-1 head of cabbage
-bacon strips(the black pepper bacon is really good with this)
-dry steak seasoning
-worcestershire sauce

Cut the cabbage into large wedges. Wrap bacon strips around each wedge. Lay each wedge onto an aluminum foil square. Sprinkle with steak seasoning and drizzle a little worcestershire on each one. Wrap up in foil.

Either throw on the grill for about 30-45 minutes or place on a baking sheet and throw in the oven at 250 for an hour.

I've never made it, but I like cabbage soup. That can't be hard to make if you find a recipe on line. Or any sort of cole slaw where you grate up the cabbage.

Instead of stuffed cabbage, I make a stuffed cabbage casserole, which is easier as you don't have to make all those little rolls.

Grate/shred the cabbage. Cover the bottom of an 11x14 pyrex pan with cabbage. Then, make the mixture that you make for stuffed cabbage (ground beef/chopped onion/rice/ketchup) - sorry I'm at work and don't have my recipes with me. Put the meat mixture on top of the cabbage. Top with another good layer of cabbage. Mix a can of tomato soup and a can of cream of mushroom soup together, and pour over the whole thing.

Cover with foil, bake 30 minutes at 400, then 2 or 2.5 hours at 250. Long/slow bake. It will be the ugliest casserole you've ever seen, but it really tastes good!
