DH was telling me about a recipe that has little smokies sausages and grape jelly.

Have you ever ate this, do you have a recipe you would like to share.

TIA,

I've had them, but never made them! I found these recipes for you. I think the one I had was made with the chili sauce.

COCKTAIL SMOKIES
1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly
4 (4 1/2 oz.) cocktail sausages OR 2 pkgs. Little Smokies

Mix together and place in crock pot. Heat until smokies are warmed, approximately 2 hours.

COCKTAIL SMOKIES
1 pound cocktail smokies sausages
6 ounces grape jelly
6 ounces mustard

Put all ingredients into crock pot. Sir all ingredients together as jelly melts. Simmer for 1 hour. Serve warm.

I use bbq sauce and grape jelly. I cant tell you the meaurements because it is one of those things that you just toss into a crock pot and heat.

1-2 packages of wienies
1 bottle of bbq sauce-favorite or even some cheap generic
1 bottle of grape jelly

I would add in as much bbq sauce as you would like it to have, than little by little add in the grape jelly until it is has the flavor you are after.

I always did a cup of grape jelly to a cup of bbq. It doesnt matter how you measure it as long as you put equal parts bbq and grape jelly. I always cook mine in the oven. I am not a crock pot person.

I just made meatballs with chili sauce and grape jelly. When it is cooked together for a while, it tastes to me like barbecue sauce. They won't taste like grape jelly at all!

Well my mom makes lil smokies with grape jelly and ketchup. Sounds strange I know, but they are really good. She mixes equal amounts of grape jelly and ketchup(you could start with 1/2 cup each and see if you need more), stirs until it is blended really well, then puts the smokies in a crockpot and pours the grape jelly mix over them. Cook on low for a couple of hours. It tastes like bbq sauce when they are done, you can't taste the jelly or ketchup at all.
