What is your first name?
Susannah
What are your kids’ names and ages?
Caitlin, almost 12, Will is 10, Aaron is 7 and Evan is 6
How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here? Googling who-knows-what about 7 years ago! Ya'll remember when all the posts were in a big list and you just scrolled down to find what you were looking for!
What does your user name mean?
DH has always called me Bonna, don't know why. 9182 is the date of our first date 09-18-1992.
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice? Coupon codes, of course! There are several of you that helped me through losing my Grandpa, all the testing we had to have done with Evan and our relocation in the fall of 2006. You know who you are and for that, I am eternally grateful.
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis?
BUNCHES!
What was your most recent "bargain"?
Aeropostale Jeans that were originally $49.99 for {drumroll please} $5.99! I also got $90+ worth of stuff for $7 at CVS a couple of weeks ago.
What have you done to save money this week?
I haven't been to a store!
What do you consider a way of life that others think is a crazy way to save? I ad match coupons and paper clip them to the ad. If it's not on sale, we don't buy it.
What is your favorite store in which to find bargains? Aeropostale, Gap, TCP, CVS
What is the best deal you ever found (even if it wasn’t at your favorite store)? Last year I stumbled on a $2.99 tshirt deal at Aero, stocked up Caitlin's Christmas.
What is your best money saving tip?
If you aren't going to use it or donate it, don't buy it! It's not a deal if it's just going to clutter up your space.
What is your favorite frugal meal?
Throw leftover roast, a potato and an onion in the food processor. Cook it in the skillet. Voila.
Do you enter contests? If so, what is the best prize you’ve ever won? Yes I enter, who said anything about winning?
If money were no object, what 3 things would you buy yourself or your family? An extra house in OH, an extra house here in IL for family and another trip to Disney
If you had $10 to spend on yourself (you and you alone) what would you buy? A quad grande caramel upside down caramel machiato at Starbucks and a book.
Are there words you live by? What are they?
Aesop: No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
Sum yourself up in 1 word: loyal
**Disclaimer**
MS Mom of the Week is a fun way for us to get to know the Mommysavers members. Newbies to the board as well as regulars are welcome to participate. The Mom of the Week is randomly in advance of her being featured. I do this so I can contact you, let you know your feature date, and arrange to receive a picture from you to include with the survey. Having a picture included is so we can make it a little more personal and put a name to a face. This is optional of course, as are all the questions being asked. If I don’t hear back from you before your “feature†date, I will randomly select the next person and then get back to you the following week. If you would like to participate please PM 2bearsmom and we will get you signed up.
