AMAZING MUMMY
When my then 7 year old wanted to be a Mummy for Halloween I had to think...the answer was very simple and looked great! We took a plain cheap white sweatsuit (both pieces for $8 @ K-mart) We bought it 2 sizes larger  because we were going to loose the stretch and we were cutting off the cuffs. We ripped, not cut, an old white top sheet into 2 inch wide strips dipped the in fabric stiffener and applied across the front of pants and shirt...we let the raw edges hang for effect...when dry, overnight, we flipped it and did the back the same way...for a mask we covered a large balloon with the dipped strips and let dry...after it was dry we popped the balloon and added eye holes and a slit up the back of the mask so it was easy to get on and off. we added white gloves and old white socks over his shoes and he was so cute any "MUMMY" would love him all for under $20. We even washed the costume and saved it for another boy ,another year, I have 5 boys!
