As I posted on our Facebook Fan Page this morning, I headed out to Sam’s Club to do some shopping today. I only get there about once a month, and love it when I find good deals. Some of my best finds over the years include clothing clearance items and a Lane sofa we bought last year.
This shopping trip I didn’t find any spectacular deals to tell you about, so I thought I’d share some of my favorite everyday Sam’s Club finds with you.
- Clothing – We regularly find great clothing deals at Sam’s Club. Especially my husband – who has to dress up for work. We see a lot of Geoffrey Beene, Van Heusen, and Calvin Klein separates that are great for the office. Look for clothing ending in $xx.81 for the best deals.
- Milk – Milk at Sam’s Club is less than just about anywhere else in town. I like to stock up when I’m here, and I also stock up at Aldi. Both are super-competitive with milk pricing. (Pssst! Did you know you could freeze milk?)
- Cheese – We love freshly grated Parmesan and Feta cheese. Just a little bit goes a long way in “dressing up” some of the frugal pasta and rice meals I serve. Feta is expensive at our grocery store, but it’s pretty affordable here at Sam’s Club.
- Surprises – Perhaps the best (and the worst!) thing about Sam’s Club is the element of surprise. It’s great because you can find some really fun bargains, but they can ruin your budget. I usually budget a little bit for unexpected items (like the paella mix shown below).
