Name: Lisa
Age:  39
Home: Muskego, WI
Family's Names and Ages:
48, 39, 26, 23, 12, 10,

Occupation:
Christian Formation Coordinator (before I stayed home with kids I was a the head of a Commercial Insurance servicing department

If I had a day to myself...:

READ, take a long bath, catch up on ironing, watch all of my favorite movies, bake bread, eat cake, and NAP

Money Saving Tips:
Too many to list them all but my favorite one is to buy basic ingredients and let your imagination (and/or a really good recipe) make exciting things!  Convenience foods are nice some times but they are usually so full of salt and hydrogenated oils.  I try to keep them to a minimum.

Bargain Hunting Strategies:
Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Aldi's and Target

Products We Can't Live Without:
Silk Soy milk, suave hair spray, dove soap, popcorn (the real kind - not microwave), and ice cream...

Organization:
TOSS... TOSS... TOSS... I'm a packrat who's desperately trying to thin out things.  I'm trying to live by the rule that if I wouldn't pay to move it, I don't necessarily need to keep it now.

I've been burned a few times but not that often.

Secondly, we all have a bath towel that's color coded.  After use, they hang to dry (we each have TWO of the same color but try to only use one for the week).  Once or twice a week, the towels, dish towels, wash cloths, hand towels, etc., all get washed with hot water, unscented laundry soap (daughter's allergies) and vinegar (to help deodorize).  Works like a charm and cuts down on the every other day load of towels I WAS doing before this!
