Real Mom Profile

09.23.2006

Name: Cindy
Age:  37
Home: Dumfries, VA

Family's Names and Ages:
Eric (spouse) - 36
Laura (daughter) - 5
John (son) - 22 months

Occupation:
Owned own word processing business

If I had a day to myself...:
The three S's:  Sleep, shop, and spa.

Money Saving Tips:
Link your credit card to sites where you do your shopping (i.e. Upromise, ClubMom, FreeRewards) so you can get money back or bonus rewards.

Bargain Hunting Strategies:
Amazon.com is where I shop the most.  With re: to finding the best deals, I let the experts do the work for me---I sign up on every website that I read about that has money-saving tips, suggestions and let them alert me to the best deals.

Products we can't live without:
Our laptops.  The research we can do from home is invaluable for saving us time and money.

In the Kitchen:
I store my flour in the freezer.  It stays fresh and the bugs can't get to it.

Organization:
I put not just one, but two bath/shower pole organizers in the corners of my kids bath.  They are infinitely more secure and spacious than the mesh toy organizers w/ suction cups.  The toys are still able to air out and the tub looks much more organized.
