Family's Names and Ages:
Jeremy, 29
Logan, 2
Occupation:
Industry Operations Investigator W/ATF
If I had a day to myself...:
Get my hair done (it's been FOREVER)
Money Saving Tips:
If you can make it yourself, don't buy it. Get
ideas from expensive stores and go to Target or
Kohl's.
Bargain Hunting Strategies:
I used to work at Target while in College so I
know all about the clearance pricing. Buy for
next year at the end of each season...even
though it can get tough with kids and growing
out of things.
Products we can't live without:
Swiffer Dusters and Pampers Clean N' Play spray.
In the Kitchen:
I LOVE VEGGIES! and so does my son, so anything
with veggies he loves. I make a Greek cucumber
and tomato salad that is always a hit, with my
family and everyone else's:
2 cucumbers sliced and quartered
2 medium tomatoes coarsely chopped
1/2 c thinly sliced onion
1/2 c of Mediterranean Crumbles (Kraft)
1/2 c of Greek Vinaigrette
Organization:
If you can see it, a nice lined basket can add
order to any room. If you can't see it, a
plastic bin is my best friend.
We have an upholstered ottoman that we use as a
coffee table in our family room doubles as a toy
box. It opens up and has tons of room inside.
Ours was made by Basset and we found it at a
discount furniture store in Denver, NC for $125.
It matches our furniture perfectly and makes
clean up at night a breeze. Our family room
becomes a grown up room after our son goes to
bed thanks to the ottoman. Plus, he loves
sitting on it and doing puzzles!
