When it comes to Halloween costumes, it pays shop your thrift store early in the season for the best selection. Most thrift stores have already put out their Halloween merchandise or will in the next week. If you wait until the end of October to shop, your selection won’t be nearly as good. If your thrift store has a half price day or bag day, shop then to save even more money.
I was able to pick up this adorable puppy costume for my nephew for just $2.50! It looks like his real dog, Kona, who is our favorite yellow lab. Thrift stores are also a great place to pick up Halloween decorations for your home, as you can see below.
