Easy Carolina Barbecue Sauce Recipe

Carolina Barbecue SauceThis vinegar-based Carolina Barbecue Sauce adds a tangy twang to your pulled pork recipes.  It’s easy to make, and is ready in just 30 minutes.

Carolina Barbecue Sauce
1/4 C. butter
1/2 C. minced onion
1 1/3 C. ketchup
1 C. brown sugar
1 C. apple cider vinegar
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. red cayenne pepper

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook 2-3 minutes until translucent. Add the remaining ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes uncovered or until sauce begins to thicken.
