It's the Packaging: Homemade Lunchables

For kids, packaging is important. My son is a big fan of the Oscar Meyer Lunchables, but at $2 a pop for a few little crackers and cheese, they aren’t the best value. Somehow packing crackers and cheese in a Rubbermaid container or in a Ziplock bag just doesn’t cut it in his eyes.

So, I decided to reuse the Lunchables containers and make my own contents to go inside. I used the Glad Press and Seal plastic wrap to make the packaging even more realistic and added a sticker on the outside just for fun. It was a big hit!

Tip: Look for stickers of your kids’ favorite characters at stores like The Dollar Tree
