Lemon Coconut Scrub is an easy DIY gift for many occasions. I first made this for Mother’s Day a few years ago with a group of 8 year old girls. It was easy enough for them to make on their own, and their moms loved it!
To make Lemon Coconut Scrub, you only need three ingredients:
- a whole lemon
- white sugar
- coconut oil
You’ll also need a jar or container to put your finished Lemon Coconut Scrub in. This recipes makes enough to fill an 8 ounce (1/2 pint) mason jar.
Lemon Coconut Scrub Recipe
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- zest of one lemon
- juice of 1/2 lemon
Mix all ingredients thoroughly, and put the scrub in a container of your choice.
Lemon Coconut Scrub Tips
- You can add more or less oil or sugar to get your desired consistency.
- You can substitute just about any oil you like, such as almond oil, or even vegetable oil. Olive oil will add quite a bit of it’s own scent, so keep that in mind.

There are two different versions of the printable tags. You can either cut out the tag and glue it to the top of the mason jar lid, or print the tags onto cardstock, cut out and hole punch to tie around the jar.
