Valentine’s Day Craft: Recycled Valentine’s Treat Jars

Reuse glass or plastic jars, making them into easy Valentine’s Day treat holders!  I used a plastic peanut butter jar and two glass baby food jars to make these fun and easy treat jars for Valentine’s Day.

I decorated my recycled jars with construction paper and shiny red wrapping paper.  I cut out paper conversation hearts to decorate them with and filled the recycled treat jars with conversation hearts candy.  You could use any Valentine’s Day candy to fill your recycled jars.

I used a 4×4 inch square of the red wrapping paper and a rubber band to cover the lids of the baby food jars.

I ended up using the recycled peanut butter jar as a vase for these flowers.  I’m sure my little girl isn’t the only one who would love to be surprised on Valentine’s Day by a few flowers in a decorated jar.
