Name: Jennie
Age:   25
Home:
Providence, RI

Family's Names and Ages:
Husband Tom, 29
Daughter Courtney, 6
Son Joey, 3

Occupation:
I'm a full time stay at home mom but I used to work as a teacher assistant before I had my son

If I had a day to myself...

I would book a day at a spa with my best friend and we would spend the day getting pampered and beautiful and gossip.

Money Saving Tips:

Ask yourself do I need this or do I want it before you purchase something rather big. Even if it's small, this works. Use leftovers in creative ways, ask family members for their money saving tips-I cant tell you how many times my Grandma has given me the best money advice.

Bargain Hunting Strategies:

After holiday sales I wait about two weeks and then hit stores like Walmart and even the Dollar Tree where everything is at least half off. I stock up on wrapping paper, ribbon, candy -all for great prices.
The day-old section of the grocery store where they keep the dented cans and day old bread. You can find some great deals there-I buy containers of cookies and Danishes for as low as $1.25! And its good stuff too!!

Products we can't live without:

Campbells Chunky Soups--good staple to have for those nights when you just don't feel like making a big meal.  Frozen veggies--they can be blended right into your meals or added to stir-fries.

In the Kitchen:

I have a VERY picky husband who hates veggies 100% so to fool him, I blend up some yummy thawed frozen veggies and add it to sauces and gravies and he never is the wiser. I like to bake a batch of big yummy muffins on a Sunday and then I store them in giant ziploc baggies so every day of the week, if breakfast is going too fast, I can usually just grab a muffin and go.

Organization:

Keep the kids organized with their belongings and you'll feel more organized in the morning by not having to try to find that lost mitten or their other boot.
Keep everything in the same place where you can find it.
Every once in a while, weed thru the stuff that's cluttering your closet or your tables and get rid of stuff you no longer need-you'll feel like a huge weight has been lifted.
