Name: Jill
Age: 29
Home: Kentucky
Occupation: Respiratory Therapist, I am now a stay at home mom
Family:
Cameron age 8
Joshua age 5
Kellie age 3
David (Spouse, age 30)
Hobbies:
I am very involved at my children's school in the PTA and am there
almost daily. When I am not at my boys school, I take my only
daughter on shopping trips (she loves to shop with mommy)!
What Funny Things Do Your Kids Do/Say:
Not too long ago, my sister was telling me what my nephew said about how
God should pick up garbage cans that fall in the road. I was
telling my 5 year old what his cousin said and he replied by saying
"Mom, how can God pick up a garbage can when he's got the whole
world in his hands?" He was so serious but I couldn't help
but chuckle a little.
The Most Rewarding Thing About Parenting:
I just love receiving tight little hugs from my children. It so
rewarding and just lets me know that I am doing my job with them.
The Most Challenging Thing About Parenting:
Dealing with the fighting between the three. It really drives my
crazy sometimes.
Favorites:
Childrens' Encyclopedia--will keep them busy for hours!
Polly Pockets--even the boys will play with them!
Coloring Books--Something they all love to do together!
Money Saving Tips:
Price matching at the local grocery store. If you bring in another
stores weekly paper, most stores will match their price to the other on
the same item.
Best Bargain Ever:
I got a leap frog globe on sale for $29.99 at a local Office Max!
Everywhere else they were $109!! Talk about being in the right
place at the right time...This was a great deal.
In the Kitchen:
I do not know how many people out there have tried the new Crockpot
Classics that have come out but they are wonderful and so so easy to
fix! Even my husband can do it.
Organization:
I keep a basket of toys in almost every room in the house for my 3 year
old since she always has something in her hand. If it is a more
formal room, I hide the basket between the wall and something else.
Clean up is easy and it is well hidden.
