Name: Amy
Age: 37
Home: Hartland, MI

Family's Names and Ages:
Tristan, 4
Aidan, 1

Occupation:
I worked as a tax specialist at a mortgage company working primarily with delinquent tax situations.  Now I am a stay at home mom and love it!

If I had a day to myself...:
Just go out and take it easy.  Shop for clothes in peace, enjoy some coffee and chit chat with my sister and visit a bookstore and explore all the sections!

Money Saving Tips:
My recent favorite discovery is a grocery center called ALDI.  I drive 40 minutes to get there but It's worth it. The food is not brand name but seriously tastes so much better.  The savings are at least half than what I would spend in a familiar grocery chain.  No coupons needed.

Bargain Hunting Strategies:
When you least expect it, some dollar stores carry brand names.  Wal-Mart and Target are good for some bargains.  I also shop clothes for my kids at Children's Orchard.  I save hundreds of dollars a year for clothes they only wear a few months out of the year.

Products we can't live without:
My computer for one, this baby saves me tons of money from the information that I obtain.  Everyone benefits.  Also, TOP JOB  disinfecting wipes they are cheap and handy.  When you need to clean up nasty messes before your kids get to them, those wipes are right there.  LOVE THEM!

In the Kitchen:
Buy hamburger in bulk.  Brown, separate what you need for meals and freeze.  Prepares meals fast!

Organization:
When buying bed sheets save the zippered plastic package and use for plastic lids in the kitchen.  Also for utensils that are used very much.  I suppose they have varried uses.  Headache saver!
