The Most Rewarding Thing About Parenting:
Knowing I'm raising my kids to be responsible and sensitive to other people.  They will make mistakes and they know that's okay, too.

The Most Challenging Thing About Parenting:

Juggling all of the kid's schedules with starting my own business and working full time.

Favorites:
My organizer, PS 2 (although they only get it AFTER homework etc. and then only for 30 minutes), the DVD player in my car, Legos, and Barbies.

Money Saving Tips:
Always reinvent stuff-thrift store finds can be touched up with paint and used for something entirely different.  Don't be afraid to ask about something--the worse thing that can happen is someone can say no.  Use metal conduit for curtain rods-it's cheap, can be spray painted black, a multitude of things can be placed at each end for the end caps, and you can also buy the hardware cheap and paint it to hold it.  HIT THE FLEA MARKETS--look at ALL of the booths before you buy.  (I once bought Pepsi cartons-the ones that used to be used to hold the bottles-for less than $5 each.  These can be used to hold books, magazines, they slide under the bed, in the bathroom to hold stuff if you have a large counter, etc.)

Best Bargain Ever:

A large cupboard/shelves with closed bottom and shelves on top, very heavy with paint peeling, to put all of my pottery in.  The piece only cost me $100!

In the Kitchen:

I'm not a big cook, but I look for quick, easy stuff.  I love crock pot recipes since I'm on the go all of the time, but I think my favorite thing is this:  Get some raspberry chipotle sauce, put out a brick of cream cheese, pour chipotle sauce over cream cheese and put out with Ritz crackers for a quick appetizer.  Guests/family will love it!

Organization:
Stay on top of clutter!  If it gets stacked up, it will seem to take forever to get out from under it and it will take over your life.  I keep a large long basket under my coffee table for kids papers and other things that need picked up quick.  A large crate under my computer desk for all desk supplies and kids extra school supplies.  I keep really large baskets in my closet to hold extra blankets and pillows for overnight guests.  Just think storage with everything!
