Name: Amy Barnes
Age:   23 years old
Home: Salina, Kansas

Family's Names and Ages:
Amy~23 yrs old
John~31 yrs old
Brandon~7 yrs old
Hailey~5 yrs old
Kaleb~3 yrs old
McKinzey~1 month old

Then we have 3 dogs and 2 cats :)  They are family too!

Occupation:
Well I have been a mother since I was 16, so haven't had much time for a career.  I have mostly been a waitress and was in nursing school but just had a baby so had to quit that.  I am now and forever a stay at home mom, I'm sure.  My husband is in the Army and is currently deployed serving with Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq.

If I had a day to myself...:

I would probably get some stuff done around the house just because it's hard to do with kids around.  Then I think I would go to a day spa or somewhere I could just sit there and relax just for one day :)  If I couldn't do that I think I might just crawl into bed and sleep a whole day to catch up for missed time the past 7 years since becoming a mommy hehe!!

Money Saving Tips:

I'd say first off...Coupons!  They can come in handy if just keep an eye out. Sometimes it's not always the best bargain, but it usually is!!  Then I'd say make a list before you go shopping that way you know exactly what you need and don't grab anything else!  On things like a water bill, bathe the kids together (if ages allow it, of course) that way you aren't running 3 and 4 or more baths a night.

Bargain Hunting Strategies:

Well we live right by Walmart so we almost always go there.  One good thing about Walmart is they price match other stores (unless its buy one get one free or % off things).  So I go online and check out the stores in the area that have weekly sales and write down what I need and go to Walmart.  Then when I check out I just let them know "These diapers are on sale for $5.99 at ....) and so on.  It saves you from having to go store to store it does come in handy.

Products we can't live without:

As bad as it sounds, I'm going to say the TV.  We don't have cable or anything so my kids never get to watch anything anyway.  But when they have me really stressed I will put in a DVD they all like and they will sit there 'perfectly' so mom gets a much needed break for an hour a day!

Organization:

When you come in the door w/ bags say from Walmart or wherever, don't just sit on the couch and say I'll put it away later, because you won't!  Then stuff will just start piling up and have nowhere to go!
