Name: Kelly
Age:   34
Home: Port St. Lucie, Fl.

Family's Names and Ages:
Husband:  Malachi, 31
Daughter: Kaily Rose, 7 mths.
Dog:  Mimi, a toy Maltese, 3

Occupation:
I'm currently staying home with my daughter and selling baby carriers and nursing pillows.  I also tutor 2 hours a week.  Before my daughter was born, I was an Exceptional Student Education Teacher for 10 years.

If I had a day to myself...:

Journal, have a spa day at home using the natural items below, and nap!

Money Saving Tips:
Use natural items to clean your face and body:  VINEGAR - wash face - removes oil and does not dry skin out.  I use it in the 1st step of washing my hair, then I shampoo 1x.  The vinegar removes oil, buildup and dandruff.  FRESH CUT LEMONS:  Cut them in round circles and place them on brown spots, for 10 minutes, on your face and body to help fade them. HONEY:  Lather yourself with it while in the shower.  I read Catherine Zeta Jones does this to moisturize.  OLIVE OIL:  Put about a tbsp. in a bath and take a long soak.  I also throw pieces of lemon in for a nice scent.  MAKE YOUR OWN SALT SCRUB:  Salt, olive oil, honey and any other good smelling oils.

Bargain Hunting Strategies:
-DOLLAR TREE:  For cleaning wipes just like Swiffer. Sponges: I cut them in half and throw them away often because they are a breeding ground for germs.  So are toothbrushes.  I bought 3 soft bristled brushes for $1.  They work just as well and I don't feel bad when I throw them away.
-WALMART
-OLD NAVY clearance rack

Products we can't live without:
-VINEGAR:  I clean my house with it and my face!
-Back of Door PLASTIC SHOE RACKS
-Swiffer like CLEANING WIPES from the Dollar Store
-PAPER PLATES and cups
-NEW NATIVE Baby Carrier

In the Kitchen:

Use Lazy Susans to organize items.  Clothespins (from the Dollar Store) double as chip clips.  SHOPPING LISTS:  I have post it sized notes taped on the back of a cabinet door w/ the names of the places I shop.  When I think of an item I need I write it down on the appropriate list, then when it's time to shop I take the store list with me.

Organization:
Back of door PLASTIC SHOE RACKS: There are 24 clear plastic pockets so you can see everything you put in there.  I have 1 on the back of most of my closet doors. BABY'S ROOM:  hair bows, hats, clippers, etc.  COMPUTER ROOM: Office supplies and computer items.  GUEST BEDROOM:  My cards are organized there, pillowcases, winter scarves and hats.
