If I had a day to myself...:
Go somewhere to pamper myself, like a spa!

Money Saving Tips:
ALWAYS use coupons when shopping; make as much as possible from scratch; stock up when you find a good sale; frequent resale, thrift shops and garage/yard sales; trade kids clothes with friends/neighbors; shop the sales all year long for birthdays and holidays, then store until you need them;  the list is endless!

Bargain Hunting Strategies:
Walmart, Target and resale shops.  Always check the clearance racks, even if you aren't looking for anything in that department.  Some of my best finds I ran across by "accident".  Buy clothes in the off season and store until the kids can wear them.  NEVER PAY FULL PRICE FOR ANYTHING!

Products we can't live without:
Dr. Pepper (I am so addicted!), bottled water, and fresh produce - because I kill every plant I get!  LOL!

In the Kitchen:
Save the juice that comes in canned veggies and freeze.  Different kinds can be saved together.  Then use this as a base for just about any kind of soup, not just vegetable.  Gives it a very rich flavor!  You can also save the juice from canned fruit, freeze, and use to make smoothies!  Yum!

Organization:
Baskets are my favorite way to hide clutter and keep things neat.  They come in every shape and size (and color) and can be used for everything from food to toiletries to clothing (use a small one to keep socks together in a drawer).  I use them in the kitchen to put all the kids snacks in so all they have to do is just grab whatever they want from the basket.  I have several on my desk for holding different things, on my closet shelves for toiletries, out of season clothes and odds and ends.  Even one on the entry hall table for people to drop keys or whatever in.  You can use them for whatever you want!
